Composition Experiment
When I placed both of the sides of the brochure next to each other I loved the column layout and I had an idea for an alternative platform. As I have already produced a website that I am happy with and is suitable for the brand, I didn’t go on to make a new one- but I thought that this layout could work really well for the online platform. It is a simplistic composition that would appeal to the majority of the young end of the target audience, while still being eye-catching and aesthetically visual with the monochrome colour palette.
If I was to make this into a website I would, obviously, make each column have it’s own heading; almost as if it was the navigation bar on the home page. By having the website laid out this way, it is different to most websites which would appeal to the hipster audience. I could also slightly include the shade of blue from the colour palette, though it works just as it is. However, as both of the platforms and formats work together with a consistent aesthetic as well as having a distinctive design and being appropriate for the range of ages in the target audience, I think that these answer the brief and are successful in their outcomes.
