Earth has bold and vibrant colours which I think make the design more exciting for this page. I kept the same layout as the Jupiter page as this would create continuity but it would still be interesting for the target audience and continue to be interactive. The earth design is simple because of the two bold colours and the typography flows between the shapes within. Again, I kept the white type because of the boldness of how it looks and how it stands out against the colours on the planet. I love the slight variation in shades on the shards around the edge too, therefore, I think this design is successful to the brief and is exciting for the audience.
As the website is an informational website that displays fun/exciting facts about the planets, I wanted to try and display this while trying to keep the aesthetic the same throughout. Instead of just typing them out I tried to arrange them around the design in the planet, though I still don’t feel that this works that well. I am going to experiment with this to see if I can create an interesting and interactive way to display the information. However, I still think that works well as a composition and is suitable for the target audience.
In addition, in the corner of all of these pages I have made a home button that is in the style of the planets. This is because the navigation could be confusing for some of the users, especially if they are young, and this button will take them back to the solar system navigation page to explore the other planets too. I think this works well because it blends into the shards but it continues to work with the design and makes the website easier to use in general.
