This is my first design for the pages that will display information and interesting facts about the individual planets. From the navigation page with the solar system the user will click on the planet which they want to discover more about and it will take them to this page. The shards from around the edge will form around the planet, gently moving to make it 3D and interactive for the audience. The planet will always be in the centre as all the focus is on it. I liked the idea of changing the shards to the colours that are used on the planet as this make the overall aesthetic better. It makes the page flow more and also distinguishes between pages which makes the navigation easier.
In the first layout the typography was arranged in one single line and I didn’t feel like it worked alongside the business of the design. Therefore, I developed it by separating each letter by making them different sizes and positioning them at different angles. I liked how they were positioned inside the planet in the first one so I kept this element, and by changing this composition it makes the type work together with the aesthetic of the whole design. The white typography makes it easily readable, plus the sans-serif works in harmony with boldness of all of the shapes- therefore, I think the design works well for the audience as well as looking interesting and exciting.
